Whether following surgery or due to illness or injury, the on-campus Grove Health Care Center provides both innovative and individualized short- and long-term care. The Grove Health Care Center is part of an active senior living community designed to enhance all aspects of life—the physical, cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual. The Grove Health Care Center is divided into three small neighborhoods accommodating approximately 20 residents each. These intimate neighborhoods enable team members to better provide customized support to meet each resident’s unique needs.
With oversight from a dedicated medical director, our highly trained team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants and a certified dietitian cater to those who need around-the-clock nursing care services.
At Hermitage Richmond, nursing care is never a “one-size-fits-all” solution. Our dedicated team partners with you, your family and your physicians to develop a support plan to meet your specific needs and preferences. Together, we deliver a continuity of care that can lead to more positive outcomes.

The Grove Health Care Center is a comforting setting that promotes health and healing.
You will have a choice of a furnished private or semi-private room. You and your family are encouraged to decorate your suite with personal treasures, photos, furniture and artwork to reflect your taste and feel at home.
Dining is always a delight, too. Each neighborhood features its own beautiful dining room where three chef inspired meals are served daily. Or, if required, meals are brought into your residence. Snacks are readily available 24 hours a day.
Because we know the desire to be engaged and active does not change even when you require support, you will enjoy engaging programs and activities, including intergenerational opportunities, entertainment, lectures, seasonal activities, worship services and Bible studies.
